This site is written and maintained by the Komodo Yacht Rental editorial desk. It is a desk, not a personality: what follows is how the work is done and what the desk will and will not claim.

How a page gets written

Each page begins from the operator, the authority or the published document that actually decides the answer. Anything that cannot be traced back that far is marked as unconfirmed on the page.

What this desk does not claim

This desk is not a licensed adviser of any kind. Where a decision carries legal, financial or medical weight, the page says to take it to someone who is. Names and credentials are deliberately absent. Anything of that kind on a public page ought to be verifiable, and we would rather leave the space empty than fill it with a qualification nobody can check.

Sources and corrections

Figures and rules published here are taken from the operator or the responsible authority. When we have not been able to confirm something, the page says it is unconfirmed instead of rounding it into a fact. If a page here contradicts what you were told by an operator or an official office, write to us. We will check it and correct the page.
